Day to Night make-up look

Hello lovelies, long time no see :( I know....I’m soo so so sorry about that, finals are killing me, I don’t even have time to breathe. But I’m almost done :D:D:D and I’m back with new and exciting posts :D.

So...today I have a Day to Night make-up look for those girls out there, like me :)), who have no time to spare, are always on the run, are always busy  and don’t have time to do their make-up several times a day. That’s why I decided to do this tutorial on how to turn your day time make-up into a night time one.

The idea came from a beautiful girl, Little D who has a blog as I do. She is doing a contest on this theme (Ro only) and I’m participating. You should check her out, she’s amazing and try your luck at her contest :D, I know I had fun doing it :D.

So...my everyday make-up look is really simple, I always use the same palette: Too Faced Natural Eye. I use Honey Pot on the lid, Velvet Revolver in the crease and a little on the brow bone, Push-up or Erotica just in the crease, blending it with the Velvet Revolver, Cocoa Puff as a liner and in the outer corner and Heaven as a highlight in the inner corner and under the brow. A brown liner on the waterline and mascara and I'm out the door.

Now the fun part...to transform it into a night time make-up look, I searched for a color to match the gold Honey Pot. And I found an amazing, beautiful shadow from L’Oreal: Chrome Shine in Starry Black. This name doesn’t do any justice for the color. It’s actually a dark forest green with fine golden glitter in it. I absolutely looove this eyeshadow, it’s perfect for a smokey look, you can even use it on its own.

So...I applied the Starry Black in the crease and past it, concentrating on the outer corner and blending it upwards into the Velvet Revolver  that I used  earlier. Since this is a really dark shadow, the gold one kind of lost its intensity so I went on and reapplied Honey Pot on the lid, making sure that it was well blended into the Starry Black.
After that, to make the look more dramatic, I lined my upper lashline with a liquid liner, creating a small wing :D. If you feel like the gold transferred to the lashes, you can go ahead and apply another coat of mascara.

And you’re done, ready to party...or ready for a romantic dinner :D.  Pretty simple, wasn’t it? :D xoxo
